Join us for our Women’s Winter Workshop: “God’s View of You, and What’s True About You,” drawn from Ruth Chou Simons’ beautifully illustrated and spiritually rich book Beholding and Becoming: The Art of Everyday Worship. Rooted in Psalm 119:11, this workshop invites you to slow down, notice God’s presence in the ordinary, and allow His truth to shape who you are becoming—a gentle call to worship right in the midst of real life. We are honored to welcome Dr. Flojuane “Flo” Cofer as our keynote speaker. An epidemiologist, policy director, 2024 Sacramento mayoral candidate, and passionate advocate for change, Dr. Cofer brings deep insight into how God’s view of us often stands in contrast to how we see ourselves—and how others may see us. Her unique blend of professional expertise, personal faith, and commitment to community will offer a meaningful perspective on embracing our God-given identity. The workshop is FREE, and advance registration is requested. Click the registration button to sign-up and for additional information. Email questions to LIFT@citychurchsac.org.
